Happy New Year 2009 & Important Prayer Link

2008 has truly been a year of change and new beginnings. Everything that you have overcome this past year, know that it was "Christ in you" that brought you through. Keep this in mind as you approach the challenges of 2009. It is He that gives us strength. I'm reminded as to what the Apostle Paul said "I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my own countrymen, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false brothers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. Who is weak, and I do not feel weak?"(2Corinthians 11:24-29). Remember that "we can do all things through Christ that gives us strength" (Phillipians 4:13). Keep praying for our troops in the middle east, the prayer team is steadily growing. Here is the new link to forward your prayer partners to click on to get to my blog page. Please use this link to forward to your interested praying parties. We can do this thing in 2009. Just Do it! Send it out and always pray: http://www.clickaudit.com/goto/?144162

Approval from Author: "Forever War" Dexter Filkins

I want to say thank you for those of you who have immediately caught the vision for the establishment of a 24 X 7 International Prayer Team called "For the Love of Our Troops." The response has been great the first day of its announcement on yesterday. Some of you have expressed that the Author of "Forever War", Mr. Dexter Filkins should be contacted that it will be his book that is being promoted from my blog page to keep the team informed, close to war and ready in prayer. I am excited to say that I did contact Dexter and we have his much approval and blessings. Thank you for your wonderful advice. Any other great advice, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at: kenbordeaux@gmail.com Let's grow the team together and not wait. Below is Dexter's note back to me early this morning:

Dear Kenneth:

Thanks for your quote and the nice words. I have no problem at all with your promoting it. Anytime!

For The Love of Our Troops - "We got Ur Back"

I want to thank you all who have blogged my page and have emailed me inquiring about my books. I want you to know that I am in the process of finding a publishing company that can make all my books more readily available to all. For the last few days I have not only been concentrating on my books, but another author's work who was recently interviewed on MSNBC. He released his new book entitled "Forever War" by Dexter Filkens. It is a work that comprises of his experience as an journalist on the ground in Bahgdad for the past 10 years while traveling in the company of the Marines. This book is not political or bias in any shape, form, or fashion. It just tells you what he has seen on the ground in Bahgdad with our troops, the people of Iraq, and the Jihaddist. You can view the MSNBC book review and interview of Dexter by clicking on the following:
Let me first say to you that after you see this clip you won't see things about war the same. I will urge you to go to any book store and look for it in the history section. I'm asking you to read from pages 3 to 9 just to get an idea of the type of things he is talking about in the clip above. Our men and women have been under some very demonic and extreme physical warfare in Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The awareness of this clip on MSNBC and this book has called me to an higher element to spiritual duty. Therefore, today I am announcing that I am organizing an International 24 X 7 Prayer Team that will fight in the spirit with prayer the demonic forces of evil that battle against our troops. No longer should any administration send our men and women into battle and the people don't properly have their backs in around the clock prayer. This blogsite will not just serve as an information venue for my writings, but will also become the central point of contact for updates on this International Prayer Team and its results. The international prayer team that I am organizing is entitled "For The Love of Our Troops", subtitled "We got Ur Back." As long as our men and women are fighting anywhere in the world, this is a much needed device for them on a 24 X 7 basis. For those of you who are not familiar with me and my background. Just to let you know, I have served in the U.S. Air Force for 6 1/2 years. I was a member of the White House Presidential Honor in Washington D.C. for 2 years. I was the Assistant NCOIC of the 2nd Element (Pallbearers). I trained the other honor guardsmen and women daily. I know what its like to hand a neatly folded flag to a sombering mother, a crushed wife, a distraught father or depressed sister after the death of one of their family members. I know it too well and have done it too many times. I can't begin to tell you about the hundreds of funerals I participated in Washington in those 2 short years. During that time, we weren't at war, just a few skirmishes here and there. I can only imagine the amount of funeral services those guys and gals are performing today in Washington and other parts of the country. My feet still hurt just to think about all the marching from the Chapel in Arlington Cemetary to the grave sites that our Unit conducted. Many times up to 4 to 5 funerals in one day. I want each of you to know the truth. It is the bodies under those tomb stones in Arlington Cemetary and many other places like it, that has given us the right to be free, have an opinion or even an attitude in America. Therefore, "For The Love of Our Troops" has today been launched to counter attack the "Prince of Darkness". I am conducting a strategic plan of calling thousands to prayer where we have our troops back on a 24 X 7 basis. I want to give a shout out to Cynthia Piage in Okinawa, Japan who heard the call to prayer after I talked to her and has joined me and others in this endeavor. Proceeds from my personal book sales of CHOOSE, CHOOSE II, The spirit of Greed and others I write will support this international prayer forum. There will be more information given out later on the type of things this international prayer team will be involved in on the behalf of our men and women in uniform.

If you are interested in becoming apart of the prayer team, please do not hesistate to view the link above, purchase the book "Forever War", and send me an email at: kenbordeaux@gmail.com I will personally get back with you soon. This will cost you nothing, but your time in prayer.

P.S. I get nothing from Dexter's book above. I just read it and it is astounding. I have not met him. It is just the perfect piece that brings us close to the war. We can't go to Baghdad, we can't go to Afghanistan, but we can buy this book. It will take you there.
