Exciting News - Accepted by Publishing Company

It gives me great pleasure to announce the exciting news that earlier this week I received the much prayed for acceptance and contract from a God sent publishing company that will take the books I write to the masses. I sent off the packet on yesterday and received a call today that they have received my packet and have welcomed me as a new author to their family. I want to thank all of you out there who have held this endeavor up in prayer. There is a lot of work to do and I want to say that I am thankful to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ that this part of the work is done. Again, there is still much work to be done and I will keep you all informed when the first book is available in your area.

As Always: DON'T FORGET TO PRAY FOR OUR TROOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Book under review by Publishing Company and Military suicide increase

I just wanted to let you all know that the book "Choose" is under review by a very reprobable publishing company. I will know something within the next week or so if it has passed their very tough nomination process. I ask for your prayers in this endeavor. Also, I want to give the prayer team an update on what's going on with our military. I am very sad to say that the number of military suicides have been going up since 2005. At the close of 2008 we had 125 military personnel committ suicide, much of it due to the back-to-back tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Please read the msnbc article below and continue to pray for our troops:

WASHINGTON — Suicide rates among active-duty U.S. military personnel are continuing to rise even as the Defense Department dedicates more resources to identifying troubled service members and getting them the help they need, NBC News has learned.

At least 125 soldiers were confirmed to have killed themselves in 2008, compared with 115 in 2007, 102 in 2006 and 87 in 2005, a senior defense official told NBC News. Last year’s figure is likely to rise even higher, because the Army is investigating at least 17 other deaths as possible suicides.

The Marine Corps reported 41 possible suicides last year, up from 33 in 2007, a defense official said, while the Navy and the Air Force saw smaller increases.

President Barrack Obama's Innaguration Jan 20, 2009

Yesterday will be the most memorable day that this nation has ever experienced. None of us can begin to put words together of what we felt and how we feel about what has just taken place in our nation. I want to first say thanks to CNN and Facebook who did a marvelous job of covering the innauguration. The internet was jammed to capacity, people from all around the world joined in to witness, celebrate and congratulate America in its Innauguration of its first African American President - Barrack Hussein Obama. All I can say is WOW! I waited until today to update my blog because it was an "allday" experience watching and celebrating this wonderful historical movement. America will never be the same. What just happened goes beyond the hearts and minds of what most of us will ever imagine or see. The one thing I do know is that the "Decision Making" of one race in this nation for over 400 years will never be again. This Presidential election has opened up the direction and decision making of this country to all people who desire to be American. I say to our friendly neighbors and International friends that America is not white or black, it's a nation of many colors, creeds, experiences and voices. Change has come to America. May we live up to that example and may God bless you and may He also bless America. Join me in praying for our troops in harms way. Click on this link to remember highlights of this great day.
